About Kelly Halverson

I’m a digital product designer with nearly 3 years industry experience working with nonprofits, small businesses, and global enterprise corporations, specializing in interaction and interface design and design systems.

I come from an interdisciplinary background in anthropology, education, and illustration where I’ve developed an enthusiasm for building systems that empower people for good. I firmly believe that with an open mind and a bit of collaborative hard work we can move towards creating a more benevolent, equitable, and climate conscious society. It’s a false choice to prioritize profits over principled decisions, and I’m always up for the challenge of bridging that gap with well-investigated, positively impactful, innovative solutions.

When I’m off the clock, you’ll find me soaking up some sunshine while hiking in the mountains, trying to capture the beauty of the world through a paintbrush, or devouring everything there is to know about the history and science of food.

Design creates culture. Culture shapes values. Values determine the future. Design is therefore responsible for the world our children will live in.
